A Poem for Valentine's

of love

gracious and light

a recipe of good fortune

your amusing sensual looks

cosy calm voice

a ratafia

running smoothly

down your throat

to a warm place

blushing in freedom

of joy

in all that one holds

you are all and everything

the silent music

of love

all that makes a man

palpable

his almond desire

lusts to touch

and eat the fruit

which you bear

enough for insomnia

to take hold

why does

one feel so so

lost

for what is love

without you
