David Medalla

It's the anniversary of the artist David Medalla's passing. He was such an inspiration for me. He created the London Biennale in 2000. What a gang that was, meeting in 'The Angel' pub in Islington every week. I showed, and curated countless shows in the subsequent years. He was a man of great vision that truly made me realise the endless possibilities within myself, and gave me the encouragement to be fearless in my creative endeavours, and for that David, I am forever grateful.. Rest in Peace.
