Chiaroscuro

A Show by Pharos Gallery

[Origin: 1680–90; < It, equiv. to chiaro bright (< L clārus) + oscuro dark (< L obscūrus).

Pharos Gallery is a grass roots East End movement that sets itself in opposition to the West End art scene. Pharos is simply made up of artists who want to make art, not commodity.

Darkness and light in all of their various guises is explored in Chiaroscuro, an exhibition which brings together 15 artists from Pharos Gallery in its inaugural show.

11th – 14th December 2008

By overland: London Fields train station is a 5 minute walk

I am a known fan of Wayne's work, I had a quick preview of one of his new pieces and it's brilliant! I want to buy it...........................
